On top of that are specialised reference data like an App Store, there are entire businesses built on serving over Bloomberg. Something like 35 million assets have pricing pipes to Bloomberg. The data feeds are ridiculously numerous.
data feeds just replicate it for considerably less money? Couldn't someone with a cheap windows PC and a pair of monitors + misc.
