The mod will not work if you have another mod that tries to change the items.xml file. Do not put the mod into "packed," leave it only within resources.

Rather than the whole "Rebirth" or "Afterbirth" folder itself. What to do?Ī: Make sure that you're using the right version (Rebirth/Afterbirth) and that you're using the items.xml file from inside the folder Q: I've installed the mod but it didn't look like it worked. There's another way to access the resources folder and the general idea is the same but I don't know the details. One use items such as Forget Me Now still disappear after use.Ī: For Windows, you have to take the mod files and put it into the resources file for Isaac.įor Steam, it's located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\resources."Īs for Mac and Linux, sorry, I don't really know.

Lol.īut besides that, which I call "fixing a bug not caused by me", yes, it's cheating. This mod gives every active item infinite charge.

xDĭo note, though, I already had all the achievements (including the ones for the Lost) up till that point, so I forgave myself. After the Afterbirth release, some people's safe files got lost (including mine), and I had the ability to import the data, which unlocked everything I had up till that point, unless (for some reason) The Lost.Īnd seeing as they just changed the way one goes about getting The Lost (And I spent 50 hours of gameplaying to try and find missing poster in combination with a sacrifice room), I went: f*ck this and modded my Isaac character to start with Missing Poster, so I'd just have to R to find a sacrifice room. Though I must admit, I've used a mod once. I'd like to know, what do all of yall think?

I personally think this makes complete sense, and therefore, I think it's cheating. Originally posted by The Elusive Skank Foot:Some have brought this up in other threads because of how now in Isaac, downloading mods disables the ability to get achievements.
